Cattle at SC auctions on Tuesday: No comparisons made this week due
to limited comparable sales. Light offerings of plain to average quality
cattle with active buyer participation.
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 357.50-382.50; 500-600
lbs 307.50-320.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 340.00-
360.00; 500-600 lbs 300.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500
lbs 285.00-300.00; 500-600 lbs 297.50. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean

SC Grain on Wednesday: Corn bids were 4 cents higher; elevator bids
5.10, processor bid 5.15. Soybeans were 9-14 cents higher; elevator
bids 9.77-9.97, processor bids 10.37, and exports were 10.16. Wheat bids
were 4-13 cents higher; elevator bids 4.70.
Cotton on Wednesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 43 cents
higher at 62.67.
